DOGE is also a double entendre which references a meme-inspired cryptocurrency, Dogecoin that is a favorite of Musk’s.

This announcement coincides with Musk’s AI company, xAI, closing a colossal $6 billion funding round, further cementing his influence at the nexus of technology and governance. Musk has vowed to tackle "insanely dumb" government spending with the same relentless drive that revolutionized electric vehicles and space exploration.

In the early days of the Internet, Yahoo! jumped out to an early lead, but in the long-term, latercomer Google, ruled search. I don’t know that a latecomer will do exactly what happens in AI, but it’s a distinct possibility. That’s why I am taking a deeper look at xAI this week.
